12 Free Butterfly Photoshop Brushes + PNG Images
Yesterday, we brought you a free set of vintage damask pattern backgrounds in black and gold. Those are quite useful for creating interesting backgrounds for your web and print projects. As a follow up to that, we decided to release today another set of graphic design freebies, a set of butterfly clip art in PNG format.
This pack of freebies includes ready-to-use images in Portable Network Graphics (PNG) format. We first thought of releasing this as Photoshop brush pack but having them as image pack will be more useful to most of you. (But if there is a demand for that, we can also release them as PS brushes, complete with the gold foil texture! What do you think?)
Unlike brushes, these butterfly clip art images may be used without the need for Adobe Photoshop program. Simply drag these objects to your layout or canvas in a program like Powerpoint or Document Word, and some text and presto! You have a nice, elegant greeting card or invitation card that you can send to your friends. And since these butterfly clip art images are not JPEG, they have transparent backgrounds. You can create different looks by just changing your background image or background color. Below is a preview of the images you can get from this pack.
ABOUT OUR BUTTERFLY CLIP ART PNG PACK
You may use these butterfly clip art images as background or as the main object on your canvas. They are quite high-res at 1500 x 1500 pixels wide. Use these gold butterfly images for clip art for frames, invitation cards for a debut party, for engagement announcements, save-the-date cards, wedding anniversaries, and even for wedding invitation. And since they have transparent backgrounds, these butterfly images are also perfect for web banners, headers, and website designs.
They look elegant when used against black backgrounds as shown in the preview images here. However, you can change the background to any color. They would look great against lighter pink, off-white, red, even light yellow or gold backgrounds. Try to play around with the background colors to find out what looks best for you. To make your layout for more interesting, try using textures as background. A paper background or a watercolor splash background would also look great on them.
