Label Templates: 40+ Free Photoshop Custom Shapes
I have been into making printables lately so I have been using shapes to create tags, labels, badges, ribbons, and flags a lot. To speed up my work, I have created a set of Photoshop custom shapes to simplify the process. Today, I would like to share them with you. There are a total of 40 label templates in this set composed mainly of rounded and square label templates as well as label templates in fancy bracket shapes. You may also find ribbons, band-type labels, scallop-shaped labels, and many more. You may use these label templates to easily come up with beautiful mailers, scrapbook pages, boxes, or gift tags. With these Photoshop custom shapes, designing and creating professional-looking labels will become easy breezy.
In Adobe Photoshop creating complicated shapes other than round, oval, square, rectangles and polygons, have been made easier through Photoshop Custom Shapes. These are handy-dandy stuff that you should collect to speed up your work in Photoshop. A Custom Shape has a “.csh” file extension that you can install to extend the functionality of Photoshop’s shapes tool. The advantage of using custom shapes over shapes saved as JPEG, PNG or TIFF is that the former enables you to draw designs on in Photoshop without the loss due to downsizing or upsizing of image files like JPG, PSD, and Tiff files. This is because custom shapes are in vector format and depend on a mathematical algorithm, rather than pixel data, when they are displayed. To illustrate, vectors can be inserted as tiny as a pixel dot or as large as a highway billboard without losing crispness and sharpness.
