40 Palm Tree Silhouette Shapes for Tropical-Themed Designs

Hey there! To help you prepare for Summer, here is another set of free palm tree shapes featuring various silhouettes of palm trees. These palm tree shapes are useful for creating logos, party flyers, brochures, invitation cards, and many more! Since these are vector, you can actually use them in designs that need to be re-scaled and used in various mediums–both print and web.

Meanwhile, we also released a set of Photoshop brushes consisting of 15 useful palm tree brushes. (Just in case you are more comfortable using brushes over custom shapes.)

You can mix and match these palm tree shapes with a sunset background and some beautiful texts and typographic design elements to create nice postcards. Using palm trees can also give your designs a tropical feel in an instant. The palm trees come in various shapes, some as a single tree while some are in twos or groups. There are also silhouettes of young palm trees. Below is a preview showing some of the palm tree shapes included in this pack.

HOW TO USE THESE PALM TREE SHAPES

This set contains a total of 40 palm tree shapes saved as a single CSH file. The file that you may download, however, is a ZIP file containing the shapes. Download the zipped file (download link above) and install it in your Photoshop program. To do this, simply go to the file you downloaded, and then extract the ZIP file first to get the CSH file.

Once extracted, simply double click on the CSH file and it will automatically install in your Photoshop program. This procedure works with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and later versions. Another way to install the CSH file is to manually load the shapes on your Photoshop program. First, make sure that the custom shape tool is selected on the toolbar panel. And then, go to shape tool option, click on the settings icon (gear icon), click “load shapes”, select the CSH file you extracted and click “load” to load the shapes.

These palm tree shapes were created in Adobe Photoshop CC so they are compatible with CS3 and later versions of the program. Below is a preview featuring all the palm tree shapes included in this set.
