40 Free Ribbon Custom Shapes Great for Vintage Designs

We would like to introduce a new category of freebies here–custom shapes. Custom shapes are your best option if you wish to create vector images in Photoshop. So here is the first set of custom shapes consisting of a set of ribbon custom shapes that you can use as accents in your layout. These are useful for titles or any part of your text that you need to highlight. These are useful for invitation cards, birthday greeting cards, wedding invitations, and many other things. You may also use them to highlight titles on your web page or for infographics.

There are about 40 different ribbon custom shapes to choose from. From wavy to straight, and swirling ribbon and banner styles, we are sure you’ll be able to find the perfect ribbons or banners for your layout. Below is a quick preview featuring some of the ribbon custom shapes in this set. You can always change the color to whatever you want. You may also apply texture or styles to these shapes if you want to.

HOW TO USE THESE RIBBON CUSTOM SHAPES

This set contains a total of 40 ribbon custom shapes saved as a single CSH file. The file that you may download, however, is a ZIP file containing the shapes. Download the zipped file (download link above) and install it in your Photoshop program. To do this, simply go to the file you downloaded, and then extract the ZIP file first to get the CSH file. Once extracted, simply double click on the CSH file and it will automatically install in your Photoshop program. This procedure works with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and later versions. Another way to install the CSH file is to manually load the shapes on your Photoshop program. First, make sure that the custom shape tool is selected on the toolbar panel. And then, go to shape tool option, click on the settings icon (gear icon), click “load shapes”, select the CSH file you extracted and click “load” to load the shapes.

These banners and ribbons shapes were created in Adobe Photoshop CC so they are compatible with CS3 and later versions of the program. Below is a preview featuring all the banner and ribbons shapes included in this set.
