Free Cloud Textures: 18 Fluffy Clouds and Blue Skies Photos
Cloud textures are useful for creating realistic backgrounds and effects in your compositions. Sure, there are already programs like Adobe Photoshop that you can use to create clouds and clouds effects digitally. However, these digital renditions are still not at par with the real cloud photos. In this post, we are giving away a set of 18 high-quality free cloud textures taken from above. Meaning, these are aerial photos of fluffy, cotton-like clouds. These are useful for creating backgrounds for websites, banner advertisements, and even for stuff that you intend to print later on. These pictures were taken using a professional digital camera in RAW format and later on converted into JPEG. Each texture has a resolution of 4928 x 3264 pixels.
If you happen to like all the 18 free cloud textures, we provided a link at the end of this post where you can download them in a single archived file. However, because of the high-res format, the download file is really big (at over 8MB), which will surely take you plenty of time to download especially if you have a slow internet connection.
On the other hand, if you only want to get some of the photos, you can go to our Flickr page to download the individual file. To do that, simply click on the preview image of the specific texture you want to download. On the Flickr page, you have options to download the appropriate size you need–medium, large, original resolution.
