Today, we are releasing two very useful and high-quality Photoshop Halloween brushes for your projects this Fall courtesy of our friends from Photoshopfreebrushes.com. If you haven’t checked their website, then you are missing a lot of good freebies that this site releases almost every week, which range from quality brushes and images to beautiful backgrounds and patterns.
With barely two weeks left before the Halloween week, I am sure most of you are busy working on your designs for your Halloween events. You may use these Halloween brushes to create flyers and posters to promote your Trick or Treat parties, invitation and greeting cards you can send to friends, gift tags for your giveaways and treats, and web banners and e-postcards.
HAUNTED HOUSES HALLOWEEN BRUSHES
The first set of free brushes is composed of 28 images of old and spooky haunted castles and houses. Haunted houses are among the popular Halloween design symbols used by designers to portray a scary scene. Use these haunted houses as background or as the main element in your design. To complete the Halloween scene, you can add some flying bats or owl, a witch riding on a broom on a full moon, some spider webs and black cats as well as tombstones. Below is the preview of the images you are going to get from this brush set. These are free to use for your non-commercial projects such as party flyers, posters, invitation and greeting cards, gift tags, etc. Enjoy these free brushes. The second set of free brushes is composed of more than 30 images of scary pumpkins and Jack O’lanterns. There are brushes containing solo pumpkin while others are in a group of two or three pumpkins. There is also a scarecrow Jack O’lantern that you can use to make a spooky scene for Halloween. These brushes are also high-quality, with each brush sized at around 2000 pixels. They are created in Photoshop CS5 and should work with any CS+ version of the program, including the newer versions. Below is the preview of the images contained in the ABR file.
