16 Lights and Bokeh Background Textures
What could be a better way to start the new year than giving away a set of design freebies for the loyal users and followers of this blog. As our first post for this year, we are giving you a pack of lights background textures featuring sparkling and dancing bokeh of lights. These lights background textures are very useful in creating desktop wallpapers, websites, party posters, brochures, and many other design projects. You may also use these images to edit or replace the background of a portrait or any photograph. The subtle and interesting effects of lights and bokehs could make any photograph interesting.
You might be wondering what bokehs are. In photography, bokehs refer to the rendition of out-of-focus points of light. These are produced by setting your camera out of focus. Unlike when shooting normally wherein we aim for sharp photographs by setting the camera at its best focus, creating bokehs requires the opposite. The word “bokeh” comes from the Japanese word “boke” (pronounced bo-keh) which literally means fuzziness or dizziness.
These lights background textures we are giving away are super high-resolution at 4928×3264 pixels each. You can use them in any way you want but please refrain from redistributing them. If you want others to know about these free resources, simply refer them to this page. Better yet, you can like this page on social media sites such as FB, Twitter, G+, Linked in and Pinterest, among others. We hope you will find these textures useful!
