14 Hi-Res Water Drops Background and Textures

It’s been raining the whole week. What I hate about rainy days are traffic jams. My usual one-hour drive from home to office and vice-versa becomes three hours on the road on rainy days! Good thing, I always have my DSLR camera with me. So while I’m trapped in a Friday afternoon traffic, I decided to shoot some textures. Experimenting with my 50mm prime lens, I decided to capture some interesting rain and water drops on my windshield. So, here’s the product of my experimentation: a set of high-resolution water drops background textures. While other drivers are sitting idly behind the wheel, I was busy shooting these textures. I had fun and most of all, I didn’t fall asleep while waiting for the traffic to move.

Using these water drops background textures, you can create beautiful backgrounds for your design projects. You can use them to make desktop wallpapers, brochure or flier cover or as background for a poster. As an example, I used one of the textures in creating a preview image for this set of textures. These water drop backgrounds are super high-resolution at 4288 pixels x 2848 pixels in size. These were taken using a professional digital camera in RAW format and later on processed in Adobe Photoshop to convert them into JPEGs.
