20+ Free Watercolor Swirls Brushes
In preparation for Springtime, we bring you a set of free Photoshop brushes composed of ornate swirls with watercolor textures. They are useful for making backgrounds for greeting cards, invitation cards, posters, flyers, and other designs you need for Spring holidays. These swirl Photoshop brushes would look great if paired with our watercolor textured butterfly Photoshop brushes. These brushes are ideal both for web and printed designs since they are high-quality, with a resolution of around 2000 pixels wide. Unlike when using them as vector or JPG image in your layout, using them as Photoshop brushes will allow you to change the color of each image by just changing the foreground color in Photoshop.
Below is an example of a design we created using these swirls images. You can use them as backgrounds or as the main element in your layout.

However, if you do not have a Photoshop program or if the ABR file is not compatible with your version of the program, we also decided to include a link where you can download these images as PNG files with transparent background. Unlike when using brushes, you do not need a Photoshop program to use them. Simply insert these objects to your layout or canvas in a program like Powerpoint or Document Word, and some text and presto! You have a nice, elegant greeting card or invitation card that you can send to your friends. And since these images are not JPEG, they have transparent backgrounds. You can create different looks by just changing your background image or background color.
